Devogame is Back!

Students from across Europe will compete in the 3rd edition of the game, but who will bring home the prize?

PARIS – Monday, October 8th 2018: Devoteam, a Pure Player in Digital Transformation of large organizations in EMEA, has announced the launch of Devogame, the third edition of its annual student competition. For the third year, Devoteam invites third-level students from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Serbia and Luxembourg to compete in teams composed of two to five students for the coveted prize. The competition is an opportunity for Devoteam to recognize and foster innovative new talent.

Students have just two weeks to register their teams from Monday, October 8th on the dedicated site, as well as watch the accompanying launch video. Once registered, students will access the virtual game “Phantom Mission” in which they must devise solutions for a series of problems and puzzles.

Two finalist teams per country will be selected to present their work in a TEDx format at the Devoteam global headquarters in Paris in December, with the winning team awarded a behind the scenes trip to the CES electronics show in Las Vegas in January 2019. Members of the jury panel include Stanislas de Bentzmann, President and co-founder of Devoteam, and Anthony Priestman, EMEA Business Development Manager Cloud at Red Hat.

Devogame is an opportunity for students to work on innovative technical solutions, as well as an opportunity for them to learn more about what a career in IT entails.

As Devoteam continues to grow, we are seeing a stronger need to not only reach students with technical skills suchas engineers, but also non-traditional students who may need to strengthen their own IT competence or are intrigued by industry developments such as artificial intelligence.
